Happy Valentines Day- to our sweet Boys!

For a fun surprise, we welcomed our new little one to the world.

After a long night, we welcomed Makay Bryan Anderson to the Anderson family. He came in weighing 6 lb 14 oz & 19 inches long. Mom did a great job and didn't have to push too long. Dad did even better! We got an epidural at 2am and got to sleep off and on until about 6 am when they came in and broke my water. After that, the time really flew. He was born a little after 8:30am.

Because of a little complication, he and dad went to the nursery for some test to make sure everything was ok. He was with them for about an hour and a half. No one got to see or hold him until about 11 am. That was ok for me because I was exhausted & sick to my stomach. They gave me some medication and it litterally put me out until about 4pm. People came and left, but didn't remember much other than seeing our parents and the two boys (Taylor & Hayden). They we soooo surprised and soooo excited to hold the baby. I can't tell which one was more excited.

Makay is a great baby so far, but it is only day 2! Give us a bit of time. He and the boys will hopefully get a long great. Bryan is doing great, but had to go into work today to RC Willey because of the holiday. It will be a big day for him selling so he needed to go. The rest of the week, we'll see.

Happy Valentines Day to all of you that we didn't get a love shout out to. Thanks for all of your support and love. We couldn't do it without you!

Taylor's 7th Birthday

Birthday Taylor!

January 30th was the BIG day at our house! Taylor wasn't allowed to have a Birthday party this year (because it was an odd year.) but we decided to invite a few people who were available to come and sled with us up at Jolleys Ranch (Hobble Creek) canyon. Bryan (luckily) didn't have to work until later that day, so he got to come and spend some fun time with the Boys. A great time was had by all who came! I even tried to go down the hill a time or two until the tummy was getting tight!!

They had so much fun, but after going sledding for a couple of hours we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Metler's House and ate pizza, drinks and had cake.

The night before we made the cake and all of the frosting that went on the cake. Instead of yucky frosting, I made "cream cheese" frosting, and boy was it good. It was probabally the best cake I have made in a while! Taylor chose to make a Transformer cake.

On Sunday, we had an Anderson family Birthday party. It was amazing! Taylor got to choose to have what he wanted for dinner, and he chose "Spaghetti". What everyone loves for dinner. But Leslie improvised and made "Manicotti" for the adults. I made bread sticks. There was quite a crowd there, but we had a ton of fun. Taylor got to play his two favorite games. BINGO, everyone wins, and then we got to do a pinata!

He is so lucky to have the aunts and uncles that have made his weekend the BEST! He had such a great time. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to love my boys soooooo much.

Our two boys are such daddy boys! The love every chance they have to spend with him. Which we lack just a little bit around our house because our work lives have been so busy.

Taylor is shown holding his new pillow case and wearing his new jamies! Grandma Anderson sewed him some new jamies, and he loves them so much. She has an amazing guy that does her digitizing! He is so good I can't even compare him to anyone she has ever had.

Snow Day! Or what we thought was going to be a snow day!!!

This last Saturday night it snowed a little bit up in Orem, but it Dumped a Ton on every town but ours. Bryan said that Jack Frost just sneazed on us and cried on everyone else. Anyways, by the time we got home from church on Sunday, the boys were dying to get their snow clothes on and play in the snow. It was not good, because this was all that was left of the snow.

They got out the sled and tried to sled down the slide in the sandbox. Taylor did ok, but when it got to Hayden's turn, I was a little nervous about that one. He almost went off the side of the slide. So we ended that really quick.

The REAL SNOW DAY!!!

Today, Tuesday, it finally snowed. Hayden wanted his snow clothes on first thing this morning, and I told him he had to eat breakfast first. I don't think I have ever seen him eat so fast. He ran into his bedroom, got his clothes, and wanted them on quick.

When Bryan got home from UPS this morning, it was even more of a reason to get them on and go out with him to help him with all the walks. The first thing he did was fall in the snow and do a snow angel! It was sooooo cute. Taylor is dying to get out of school and come home to play too! Bryan got a new snow blower as part of his Christmas gift. I think it was actually for me and him. This way, it doesn't take us more than 10 minutes to remove the snow instead of 1-2 hours! WE LOVE IT!!!!

Fall 2009-

Right after Halloween, the leaves down at Foxwood started to fall a ton! Taylor kept telling me how he remembered how we used to rake the leaves and play in them. So we took the boys down to play in the leaves. NOT THE RAKING! We don't do landscaping anymore, so we just played for a little while. The boys decided to climb into one of the package mail boxes and become a SPECIAL delivery. It was so fun to fit them both in there. A little tight, but funny!

A little unsure of the leaves and how they felt as they went down their shirts, in their hats and everywhere else you could think of!

We had a really great time.

It has been a while since I posted my last blog! OK! It has bee a LONG while. Our laptop had to be retired and since then, it is hard for me to actually go down stairs and spend a while on the desk top computer vs. sitting in my bed at night and doing all of this! Anyways, here it goes...


Here are the boys when the weather started getting really bad, and it was starting to really feel cold out side. They love to go up to Glen Canyon park and climb the rock walls that they have. What can we say, "we have a bunch of monkeys!"





In mid October we had an apartment activity with all of our complexes and we decided to take Taylor ice skating that night. He had been telling us for a long time that he needed to go and learn how so that he could teach Hayden. He started out ice skating with a bar that is in front of him, and that only lasted about 15 minutes. After that, he was on his own!!! I think that now he know how, he will not only have to learn to teach Hayden, but the new baby too!
Here are some pictures of Halloween. I made sugar cookies with the boys on FHE night. They love to make them, but sometimes I have to really get the courage up to attempt them with all the mess and all. They did really great, and Grandma & Grandpa Anderson came over to try them with us. All was enjoyed!!!
Bryan was so lucky to have worked the early shift on Halloween day, he got to get off by 4:30 and come trick or treating with us. The boys loved it and we had a great time. Taylor this Halloween was Dark Knight for school & church, a cowboy at home and wanted to be a Vampire for trick or treating. It was definitely eventful. Hayden was Buzz Lightyear for the church activity and Batman the night of trick or treating. Bryan was his usual Hippy salesman and went to work dressed like that! It was great. And me, I didn't fit in much so I got a new T-shirt that had decor on it for an angel and wore my wings. I about put on the back of my shirt "knocked up angel" but we figured that was not appropriate.

Labor Day Holiday Weekend

Hello everyone! It has been at least a month since I updated our blog this last time. I think that I am getting a little better and faster at what I can do with it. The time before this I beleive it was a couple of months, so improvement is always better. Anyways, this past month has flown by so fast with everything that has happened. We started the month with preping for Check Outs again! It is never ending, so I will leave it at that. On the first weekend in August, the boys (Anderson Men) rode to Sturgis, South Dakota. It was almost a 13 hour ride. They saw all the stores, bars, events and even got a chance to go to Mount Rushmore! While they were there, they had a hailstorm that literally distroyed Brad's truck and Alan's trailer. Anyways they made it home all safe and sound.



The following Wednesday, on Bryan's day off, we took the boys and went to the Hogle Zoo. What a blast we had. Grandpa Anderson got the chance to come with us too. Not too many people were there, so it made the day a whole lot better.



On the 15th we celebrated Bryan's birthday. He turned the big 31 this year. He took the day off, but it rained the first half of the day. I had to work and go clean an apartment, but later that day we went to Ikea to walk around, picked up dinner at PF Changs and ate it on the way to the Demolition Derby held at the Utah County Fair grounds. I accidently forgot the tickets, so they ended up putting us right in the middle of the stadium on row 2! It was so much fun!!!!



Taylor started 1st grade this year! He is still going to be attending Noah Webster Academy, and his teachers name is Mrs. Rayes-Ciaro. Try getting a first grader to pronounce that name! I just told him to call her Mrs. Rayes. Anyways, she is new, just graduated from BYU and finished her internship as a teacher. Hopefully she does a good job. I haven't heard from her, but we have parent teacher conferences coming up at the end of September. Taylors favorite part of school is lunch time. He loves the fact that he can take his lunch and eat it at school. His second favorite thing is that they have lots of recess time! That was really funny. Anyways, getting back in the routine of waking up and getting breakfast and getting him out the door for carpool by 8:10 am has really been an adjustment from the summer routines. Even for me, at times, I just want to stay in bed and sleep. Lack of sleep has been really common lately!



Then last but not least, we had a fabulous Labor Day weekend. It was a HUGE weekend for Michelle and Leslie. It was their big Swiss Days weekend up at Midway. They always do such a great job, and sold a ton. Afterwards we took the boys swimming and stayed a the condo. They always really love to take a break from being at home all the time. Sidney had a really fun time swimming and checking out what the boys were doing in the pool. I think by watching them, it helped her relax a little bit in a bigger pool. What cute grandkids The Andersons have. Another really extiting thing that is happening this Labor Day weekend is that we have officially changed or moved our Labor Day to March 8, 2010. On that day we will be adding a new little one to our home. We are so excited and surprised about the BIG news. After so many miscarriges, this was really, really big. I have not been on any drugs or anything to keep this little one. We are officially 14 almost 15 weeks along. At the same time, we are really disappointed, the Anderson family was planning on going to Cancun at the same time. We had been looking forward to this trip for almost 2 years, being it would be our 10 year anniversary. We'll see! Anyways, it will definitely surprise you if you are reading this one. REMINDER: those that are reading this, should not tell those around them, if they have not read our update to the blog! Encourgae them to read it!!!

T-Ball/ Lake of the Woods

T-Ball Season!

At the end of May, Taylor started the long awaited T-Ball that he was dying to play. His Grandma and Dad spoiled him by buying him the whole getup to be able to be play the game. He was one of the best hitters and throwers on the team! What an arm he has!! His team name was called the Tornadoes. He had a really quick season and went to most of the games until.... one morning he woke up and had really bad leg and hip pain in his left leg. It has come and gone within the past couple of months, and we have taken him to the Dr and done several test. All the test come out negative that nothing is wrong. We finally took him to Primary Childrens Orthopedic Sergeon, and they didn't find anything either. What a relief! (History of Perthies Disease runs in my side of the family). Anyways, the pain lasted about

a week and a half and has not come back since. In the mean time, after T-Ball I took the boys and went to Oregon with my parents and Jeff & Colin and their family... We went for almost 2 weeks and had a blast. Taylor loved to fish with Grandpa Metler, Hayden loved to ride on the wave runners and the two of them had their usual run to the lodge for ice cream or popcycles. When we got to the cabin, we found out that the long lasting banana tube had a HUGE hole in it from wear and tear. The grandkids had sooooo much fun with that, and it was well worth every cent we spent for it years ago. In its place, we got this nifty looking tube. It was the coolest tube to ride in, and you hardly ever fell off of it. Only if you weren't holding on and hit a big bump. That happened to Taylor, he was showing off and decided that he didn't need to hold on. The two girls held on tight, and he got popped right off the tube! He was like spider man crawling through the air before he hit the water! What a trooper he was. It made him a little nervous to be in the water by himself. Taylor also tried waterskiing, and was unsuccesful, maybe next year. Little Squirt, Hayden, was attached to the wave runner the whole time. That was all he wanted to do. Well, he loved to get in and swim with mom too.

After 2 years of not going to the cabin, I finally decided that I couldn't miss out again. That is when Jeff and Colin were so thoughtful and let us go with them. We had a great time and it was good for Hayden and Taylor to get to know their other cousins better. It was so

hard to go down to the lake and be on the dock all day and do really not

hing! I really needed that vacation in order to get through these next couple of months. Thanks to Mom and Dad Metler, they rode over and back with us to Oregon and shared the cost of many, many things. We love them for that!!! How gracious they always are to our little fam

ily that is still growing!

Don't worry, we had a lot of time jumping off the dock and "Jumping on a fish!" The water was great, and the weather couldn't have been any better. We lucked out for the year. Thanks to all, we had a GREAT time! Jerilyn
