Fall Pictures!
It has been a while so we thought it might be time to take pictures again. Bryan and I are missing, but soon we will get one on here of all of us! The summer few by really fast! The kids are now in school. Taylor in 2nd grade, Hayden in Pre-school, & so just a few hours a day, it is sometime just Makay and I and if we are lucky, Bryan gets to be here too!

Aunt Michelle took these pictures! She always does such a great job & people always ask us where we get them done. We couldn't look cute without her!

Last Week- Waterskiing Again!
The boys went waterskiing with a little help. They are getting better at wanting to get into the lake! Bryan had a great time getting them up. He didn't even fall! He even got up on the first try!!!!

SummerTime Vacation!

Our family took some time off the week after the 4th of July! We did so many fun things we have to share.

On Tuesday we went to Park City and rode the Alpine Slide & Coaster. The kids did a few other rides too.

On Wednesday we took the boat out to DeerCreek. We just sat in the boat, swam, waterski, wakeboard and ate. It was so much fun!

On Thursday we decided to Hike the "Y". Bryan decided to push the double stroller up the mountain. I kept asking if he was sure. He said "yes". OK!!! By the time we got to the top, we stayed for about 5 minutes and left! We won't do that again. After the hike, we went and took the boys to Toy Story 3. They loved it! On Friday Bryan and I got to go to the temple. It was so nice to get to go again. I forgot how much I missed it. After that we took the boys that night to the "Kangaroo Zoo" and then out for tacos! What fun. On Saturday we just couldn't get enough of the lake so we took the boat out again. It was a little more crowded and kinda crazy. Now we remember why we don't go out on Saturdays.

What a fun week we had.

Fun at the Scera Pool! Hayden had a get together with Kids on the Move, his speech learning program. We invited the cousins to come because Rob (my brother) and his wife, Ann had their twins, and Steve (my other brother) and his wife, Robyn, were on their trek.

We had a great time!

Swimming techniques are getting much better, and we are now not afraid of getting our faces wet!!! Swimming lessons start up the second week in August.
As for the rest of the summer, We are heading to Lake of the Woods the First week in August and Bryan will be going to Sturgis in South Dakota the second week in August.
Looking forward to the end of August when students check out and in and when we get the school year started again.

Mother's Day Photo! Gotta love the boys!
We went & took pictures for the grandmas for mother's day. The only problem, Costco messed up the order and pictures were not available until Monday the day after. Anyways, can't get enough of the handsome guys.

We decided that it had been a while since we went to JC Penney and got pictues. They did a good job, but not as well as my sister in law Michelle usually does. They turned out cute! We also had some cute one's of Makays Baby blessing outfit. We got the boys new suits for Christmas, and they all seemed super cute. Every time we go to church, people are astonished that they are so handsome!! A little biased...

Makay brings a sweetness to our home that I can't describe! The boys are a little more soft and sweet to each other. I give it about 2 years...then nothing but fighting, sword fighting, & wrestling!

The most handsome boys in my book!
Well, the spring has gone by so fast and school for Taylor is almost out. I can't believe how fast the year has gone by. He will be in 2nd grade next year!!! Hayden is getting ready to start pre-school in the fall. We have been working on his speech and he has been improving slowly but surely. He tries so hard. Today he wanted to explain something to me so he said about 5 words slowly so that I could understand that he wanted more of something we ate for dinner. I was so excited to see what he said. He is growing up so fast! Makay is now 3 months and we finally got him on some medicine for his reflux. Once he was on it he has gained weight like you can't believe! He is starting to coo and smile and do all the things that mom's and dads giggle about.

Bryan is still working super hard at both jobs! In his spare time he has been working on my salon putting up the backsplash, fixing things in the house and now working on our back yard finishing a bunch of projects. It is a long process, but he has stuck with it! He has put up with me and my crazy work schedule. We lost a bunch of managers and now in the process of hiring more. I feel as though I get things working at work, and then something falls apart. I work from about 9am until about 6 or sometimes 7pm. In between all of this, try to be a mom too! I have been super blessed that my kids have put up with me and all the times we HAVE to go to work. A lot of playing doesn't happen much this past year with the kidos. Hopefully sooner than later they can be more of a kid and do what kids do.

The summer is coming up & we have a 10 day vacation planned. We are super excited and will keep you posted as it comes!

Makay Bryan Anderson

Happy Valentines Day- to our sweet Boys!

For a fun surprise, we welcomed our new little one to the world.

After a long night, we welcomed Makay Bryan Anderson to the Anderson family. He came in weighing 6 lb 14 oz & 19 inches long. Mom did a great job and didn't have to push too long. Dad did even better! We got an epidural at 2am and got to sleep off and on until about 6 am when they came in and broke my water. After that, the time really flew. He was born a little after 8:30am.

Because of a little complication, he and dad went to the nursery for some test to make sure everything was ok. He was with them for about an hour and a half. No one got to see or hold him until about 11 am. That was ok for me because I was exhausted & sick to my stomach. They gave me some medication and it litterally put me out until about 4pm. People came and left, but didn't remember much other than seeing our parents and the two boys (Taylor & Hayden). They we soooo surprised and soooo excited to hold the baby. I can't tell which one was more excited.

Makay is a great baby so far, but it is only day 2! Give us a bit of time. He and the boys will hopefully get a long great. Bryan is doing great, but had to go into work today to RC Willey because of the holiday. It will be a big day for him selling so he needed to go. The rest of the week, we'll see.

Happy Valentines Day to all of you that we didn't get a love shout out to. Thanks for all of your support and love. We couldn't do it without you!

Taylor's 7th Birthday

Birthday Taylor!
January 30th was the BIG day at our house! Taylor wasn't allowed to have a Birthday party this year (because it was an odd year.) but we decided to invite a few people who were available to come and sled with us up at Jolleys Ranch (Hobble Creek) canyon. Bryan (luckily) didn't have to work until later that day, so he got to come and spend some fun time with the Boys. A great time was had by all who came! I even tried to go down the hill a time or two until the tummy was getting tight!!

All bundled up ready to go!!!

They had so much fun, but after going sledding for a couple of hours we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Metler's House and ate pizza, drinks and had cake.

The night before we made the cake and all of the frosting that went on the cake. Instead of yucky frosting, I made "cream cheese" frosting, and boy was it good. It was probabally the best cake I have made in a while! Taylor chose to make a Transformer cake.

On Sunday, we had an Anderson family Birthday party. It was amazing! Taylor got to choose to have what he wanted for dinner, and he chose "Spaghetti". What everyone loves for dinner. But Leslie improvised and made "Manicotti" for the adults. I made bread sticks. There was quite a crowd there, but we had a ton of fun. Taylor got to play his two favorite games. BINGO, everyone wins, and then we got to do a pinata!
He is so lucky to have the aunts and uncles that have made his weekend the BEST! He had such a great time. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to love my boys soooooo much.
Our two boys are such daddy boys! The love every chance they have to spend with him. Which we lack just a little bit around our house because our work lives have been so busy.
Taylor is shown holding his new pillow case and wearing his new jamies! Grandma Anderson sewed him some new jamies, and he loves them so much. She has an amazing guy that does her digitizing! He is so good I can't even compare him to anyone she has ever had.
What a fun couple of days we had for Taylors 7th Birthday!!!!
