9 Year Anniversary!

9 Year Anniversary (May)!
Can you belive that?
Bryan surprised me and loaded the motorcycle full of camping gear and we took off on a Friday afternoon and drove down to Arches/ Moab. We got there about 5pm and found a camping spot and set up for the night. We were both hungry and tired so we went to dinner at a Mexican place. It was great food. The town was still bright with lights so we walked around and then decided to go to the movies. That was fun!
The next morning, we woke up bright and early (thanks to the little kids and their family next to us!) and went to Arches Park. I really didn't realize how many arches there were. I thought there was just one! Boy was I wrong. That day we hiked over 16 miles of ground, mountains, boulders, etc. By the end of the day, the two of us were exhausted. That night we went to a different place to eat. By the time we were finished, we went back to the tent and crashed. Although, another night of rude people camping next to us, but this time, we think it was a bunch of women that had never been before. ( we think the family was way more polite). It was so frusterating, we got up at 7:30 the next morning, packed our stuff and headed home.
But WOW! What an awesome trip. In the picture above, you can barely see us under the arch. What a hike!!! The next picture was taken while we were driving on the bike in the park. DANGEROUS.
The next picture is of Bryan standing under a tree that is way up in the mountains under one of the random arches that we hiked too. It was amazing.

LONG TIME!

Wow! It has been a really long time since I updated our blog! Sorry to all those that check every once in a while. Anyways, here are a couple of pictures from the past.

Lately both Bryan and I have been working like crazy and we barely have time to spend with the boys! So Wednesdays are our only day to play as a family. This is a picture of us up at the park above South Fork. We had a really great time.

You know that it is that time of year when the goggles come out of storage and the swimsuits are on, and the kids are ready to go in the car. We had a really great weather spell in late May, but suddenly, in June it has been nothing but rain!!! The swimming pool will have to wait!

We have spent just a few days at the pool.
Hayden has had so much fun with Taylor being out of school that he only takes about an hour nap and then has to get going again. By 7pm, he is usually ready for bed. The only problem with that is that he is up by 7am. What a killer!!!

Even though it is not Halloween, my boys can never get enough of the super hero costumes. Their friends are always over and love putting them on too!
