Motorcycle Family Picture

Fall 2008 Family Picture. Bryan absolutly loves his motorcycle & has rode it almost every day. But he is not the only one! The rest of us love it too!!! The boys can't keep their hands off of daddy's bike, so we drove it up by Deer Creek to take a fun family picture. What a beautiful day. (I drove the car w/kids, he rode)

Halloween 2008- All Right! Who guessed it on our survey? We were the family of Super Hero's for Halloween. Bryan was Iron Man, I was Wonderwoman, Taylor was Wolverine & Hayden was Superman! We made the rounds, and everyone loved it. Half of them didn't even recognize us because we were so made up. The only reason was that they saw Hayden as Superman. We had a great time!

This past month in November we had a really sad thing happen! We made the decision that we needed to find our Skittles a new home. A lot of families and people came to see her, but we found a really great family from Brigham City that came down to see her and decided to buy her from us. We are really excited for her and will really miss her. The family keeps in contact with us and keeps us up to date with her progress. She will be in a really good home with people that will take great care of her. Oh how we miss her call and letting us know when someone is home or that it is time to get up in the morning! Our home is now a little more quiet!

So a little bit of exciting new in our family! This past week we finally sold our Buick LeSabre! Our little family is getting bigger and we are needing a bigger car, so we caved in and bought a Honda Oddesey. It is navy blue and really decked out. I love it! It will be an adjustment and make our budget a little tighter, but when and if we decide to have more kids, it will fit great. This next summer, we are super excited to go camping now, and many other things that will fit our family and our luggage. We love it and are having fun with it.

Just a little update on what everyone is doing: Bryan is currently still working at UPS in the mornings, & is killing him off. On his days when he works lat at RC Willey, I go to work at the Hair School so he doesn't get to sleep much on those morning. He is such a great man, and works hard for our family. What a Hero!!
I have been really busy in working with Management stuff, doing Hair at the home, teaching at the Hair School, being a mom and my 3 callings at church. Life is crazy, but definitely keeping busy.
Taylor is excelling so much at Noah Webster, he surprises us on a daily basis! He is doing addition (and is really good at it), very good at the arts, & loves to sing! He currently stays after school on Mondays because he wanted to learn Spanish. His new favorite thing is to help me with cooking. He is a great help with Hayden and loves to play together.
Hayden is our little monkey! He is definitely following Taylors footsteps. He absolutly loves his big brother and loves it when he gets home from school. He giggles because he is so excited to see him! He loves to give squeezers, and hugs. He is still working on kisses, they are still a little slobbery!!!! We are currently working with him to talk, but he has decided he is in no hurry. Only to make sure he keeps up with what Taylor is doing.

Christmas is right around the corner, in a couple of days! We want everyone to know that we love you and are thinking of you this time of year! We are so grateful for our Savior and everything that he did for us. The reminder of his birth is a great reminder of how sweet the Gospel is in our lives & that we know that we can return to him again some day. We look forward to that day when we can walk and talk with him again. Most of all to know we will see our friends, & loved ones again! Life is short, we live it with the fullest intent of excitement and love! We love you and hope you have a great Holiday Season.
Love, Bryan, Jerilyn, Taylor & Hayden

Yellowstone 08

In August, we decided that we hadn't taken a family vacation at all this whole summer because Bryan started working at UPS in the mornings, and can't get the time off. Before we went to Yellowstone, I went out and purchased a double stroller. One of those Sit n' Stand ones. I wasn't about to take kids and only hold hands. I felt much better about putting them in the stroller and buckeling them in. People always said it was a scary place to take kids. But, it was on my list of things to see in UT, ID, MT, etc. Yes, we made it to part of Montana. That is one more state I can chalk off my list to see. Nothing there really! Anyways, Yellowstone was absolutely amazing!!! We saw some of the coolest things.

Bryan took this one of the bears! Almost that close! He was crazy!!! The cars just stop to see anything off of the side of the road even if it is a bear! J/K. Anyways, we couldn't see why everyone was stopped, but Bryan told me to get the camera and go take a picture. I got about 75 or 100 feet from the crowd, and someone said there were bears. I was out of there. I took a quick picture and ran. I didn't want to get eaten!!! Anyways, I got back to the car and Bryan asked. I told him and he looked at the picture I took. He yelled and said that you can't even see them. They just look like part of the bushes. So he got out of the car and went to take a bunch of pictures. A little crazy!

We got over to see Old Faithful too! We waited to see it, out in the HOT SUN! Taylor kept saying he couldn't see anything, until it went off. Then he said that was cool, can we leave now? You know it lasts about 10 minutes. I thought it was going to be a quick spray and we had to take the picture quickly. We go to stay in a really cool, rustic cabin that was made out of logs. It had 2 double beds and a bathroom in it. We took coolers to keep all our food cool, and then we went out to dinner. In fact, we went out to Italian for Bryan's Birthday Dinner.

We had a really great time! I don't think we'll be doing it again soon, but we had fun.

Family Pictures

So we finally got around to getting some family picts. These are 3 of my favorite boys in the world. The only outdated thing in the family picture is that we have two dog instead of one. I thought that I would not ever own 2 dogs. But somehow I got talked into housing a second dog, and supposily fell in love. Well, Taylor is 5 in this picture and Hayden is almost a year. The rest of us, well, that will not be mentioned!

Kim Collings

Died Sunday July 27th, 2008 @ 30 years old.
Our dear friend! This past week was such a hard week as Bryan, our little family & his family, lost such a special friend. Kim was a close family friend that Bryan grew up with just around the corner. He took Kim to dances, sent her flowers, and all the sorts that a best friend would do! She lite up a room when she entered & one thing I will never forget is that she loved candy & made the BEST Ginger snaps, even I couldn't make for Bryan. Kim left behind a husband, Chris Collings, and a son, AJ Collings & family and friends. We will dearly miss her, but know and understand she has touched every heart she has come in contact with!
We love you!!!

I'm No Bully!

If you are thinkin' the same thought, I'm no bully is true, you are right. My twinner boys in their Pj's. Grandma Anderson bought them twinner pajamas, and they are soooo stinkin' cute!

Birthday Cake

Hayden loves Balls! So we did a birthday cake like a football and cupcakes like so many other different balls! It was great.

Hayden turned 1! I can't believe that this first year has flown by so fast. Time is so precious with my little ones!!! Thanks to Macey's grocery store, we got a free birthday cake for the person turning 1 year old! The lady wrote the frosting in BLACK. Just FYI, make sure it isn't black with your kid. It was fun watching him dig into the cake, but boy, it was sure messy to clean up. Thank goodness we were at the pool with a hose close by. We had a great time there with friends and a few family members. Nothing huge was thrown because that week we all had the flu at our house. My family (the Metlers) were all out of town. The Anderson family had a quick short BBQ and played a some fun games. What a fun weekend, after the long week with the flu. It was great to feel healthy again.

Mother's Day Pictures!

If you don't have the cutiest kids! We definitely do!!! What fun we had this weekend celebrating Mother's Day and our 8 year anniversary. We surprised Bryan by going up to Midway for the weekend and spending a couple of nights together. It was so cute hear Taylor tell Bryan that we were going to the cabin this weekend. He could not keep a secret! He instantly wispered in Bryan's ear that we were going to the cabin. Bryan explained that we were not going to the cabin for a long time. Not until August. This was the Metler cabin that he was explaining to Taylor (over in OR.) Anyways, Taylor insisted that we were going to the cabin to go camping. It was funny. So, on Friday night, Bryan got home from work and was in the closet looking for something to eat. He was looking all over for his striped cookies. It's the Keebler kind. He got so mad because someone took them. He blamed the neighbor kids, Taylor and then his Mom! He thought his mom took them because she likes them too! I was in almost tears because I had already packed them in a box with some other food and sent them up to the condo with his parents. He started seaching Taylors room under the bed, in his drawers, and was getting really upset becuase he couldn't find the dang cookies... So on Saturday he got home from work, I had the car packed and the kids in it ready to go. We left in the car, and went up to Claim Jumper's to eat dinner. After dinner we went to the condo, got our swimsuits on and went swimming. When we got done, the kids were out and asleep in a matter of minutes after their baths. And that is when the fun begins.... for our 8 year anniversary!
The next day was Mother's Day! What a day I will never forget. Hayden decided that he wanted to be up and at it at 6:15am!!!! I politely got Bryan up and told him it was my day and he could get up with Hayden. The next think I know he came into the room at 7:15 and told me it was now my time with Hayden that he had enough. I got up made breakfast (waffels & fruit) and played with the boys. By 10 am it was now Bryan's turn to get up and face the world! I layed back down for a rest at 10 and got back up at 11. We ate lunch and then went for a ride up to Park City. We played at a park and walked the shops just browsing. Later that day we went back to the condo and I had made Chicken Roll Up's and a nice salad & fruit. (mom's favorite)

It was a fun weekend, but ended early because of Bryan needing to be back at RC Willey for work.

Here are a few cute picts of the Boys this weekend.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all that put in the most effort in the world for the most important job title there is!!!!

Steve & Makeup

What a night! We made it. It was a super crazy night, becuase it was the last day for check out's at the apartments in Provo, and it was Steve's BIG night. We practiced 1 time doing his makeup for his Broadway musical at his stake center. He sang a solo from Beauty and the Beast. What an amazing job he did. I am particularly proud of the make-up job that I pulled off on his face. A lot of the kids, nieces & nephews were scared of their Uncle Steve. He really did a great job and was a fun experience for him & me!

Easter

Hello! It is Easter Time! We had a super great day. We went to church and then spent time at Bryan's parents house for easter. The day before we went to my

parents house to color Easter eggs. Taylor had a fit because he didn't know what color to use. There were so many!!! On Sunday we spent some fun time over at the Anderson families. We had dinner, went on a fun scavenger hunt, and colored easter eggs again. What a great time. Earlier in the day, the Easter bunny hid eggs in our back yard for Taylor to find. What a great day!

Bryan's Massage Room!

Bryan's Massage Room is now complete! The day is finally here when he can start using his room and make a little extra money. He is scheduled to take the National exam on April 9th, so he is studying like crazy. He passed the State test with flying colors too. If anyone is looking for one of the best massages ever, call Bryan. Massages start at $40 for 50 minutes.

St. Patricks Day

Hello Everyone! Just a cute picture of the boys to show you what we have been up to lately! For St. Patricks Day, we sprayed the boys hair green! What fun comments we got that day!

Talk about two brothers that are absolutely in love with one another! Taylor is such a help with Hayden, I don't know what I would do without him. Hayden really loves Taylor. You can tell by watching Hayden's eyes. He will look at Taylor to see when he will turn and get attention. When Taylor gives him attention, he gets all excited and squeels. The latest Hayden does is push away from us when we are holding him so he can get closer to Taylor.

Tonight we went up to the Auto Expo at the Southtown center and Taylor wanted to ride in the stroller. When Hayden say Taylor in the stroller all of a sudden he wanted back in the stroller. So we put the two of them in there. Taylor holding Hayden. Boy did the two of them get a kick out of that! Just a little fun we have to have on the rare weekends we get to have together!

Taylor's 5 Year Birthday

Can't believe that Taylor is 5 Years old. The other day, we went and took him to the Dr. for his pre- kindergarten shots. I told him there would only be one shot and he was very hesitant about it. He was fine until the nurse came in and told him that she had bad news. He had to have 5 shots! This about did him in. He had two in the arm and 3 in the bum. By the end, he was screaming. I felt so bad. Anyways, for his birthday several days (month) ago, we went up to Thanksgiving Pointe and played at the Dinosaur museum. He just absolutly loves it there. We had a ton of fun that day.

Sunday, February 10, 2008

Taylor just turned 5! We can't believe that he will be going to kindergarten this next year. How time goes when you're having fun.
The sunday before his birthday we were at Grandma & Grandpa Andersons house to celebrate. He was so excited because he finally got a bike! Now we just have to wait for the snow to leave! It will be a while, so he rides his bike downstairs in the living room.
On Wednesda, his birthday, we took him out to the Dinosaur museum out at Thanksgiving Point. We did that for his 3 year birthday, and he remembered it so much that we had to do it again.
Later that day he went to gymnastics class and when he got home we had a kind of surprise Party for him. I invited all his boy cousins (Jason & Jackson) & their families up to celebrate with us. We had pizza & cake.

Hey everyone! This is a first for us. We are trying to catch up on what the new and "In" thing to do to keep everyone up to date on our little family. In the next couple of days we will be posting and creating this fabulous website!
See ya soon!
